2. Are there any limitations?

  • The PDFs are content protected with a 128-bit encryption key, to prevent the files from Meta and Image Crawlers, used by search engines. This protection is crucial, since some search engines and bots ignore access restrictions on web servers.

  • You can print the PDF on your inkjet or laser printer at 150 dpi resolution.

  • There's no guarantee for 3rd party PDF readers. There's only guarantee for Adobe's standard Acrobat Reader 7+ for Windows and OS X.

  • It is allowed to make one copy for backup purposes only. Alternatively, you can store the content on your hard disk

3. I want to open RF_magazine on a mobile device. Is this possible?

  • Yes and no. Some versions of Acrobat Reader for mobile devices (PDA, Palm, Pocket PC) seem to have problems with decrypting the 128-bit security key.
The PDFs are created with genuine Adobe software, obeying the rules for maximum compatibility. RF_magazine can't be held responsible for problems within the Adobe Acrobat Reader family.
